The Mindful Living Project meditation group is the ideal way to stay connected and inspired. These meetings offer the opportunity to connect with a community of meditators, maintain your meditation practice, and deepen your understanding of mindfulness.

This group is open to anyone interested in mindfulness and meditation.

The format typically includes:

  • Group meditation practice, sitting and walking (about 30 minutes)
  • Mindfulness teaching or reading and discussion

When: 01/08, 02/12, 03/26, 04/16, 05/07, 06/04, 2018

Where: First Spiritualist Church, 341 2nd street SE, Puyallup

When: 5:30 - 6:45pm

No reservations are required.  Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.

Donations (suggested $5 - $20) are welcome for the facilitators.

Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation - a 3 hour workshop

Curious about mindfulness? Interested in learning how to meditate? Want to learn effective strategies for reducing stress?

This workshop is a three-hour introduction to a powerful mental health practice that can help you cultivate a clear mind and new ways of relating to life, stress and pain. Mindfulness–the practice of open and nonjudgmental awareness in the present moment–is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body: a way to stay fit, flexible and focused. Mindfulness is currently broadly used in Western medicine and psychology to reduce stress and anxiety, lift mood, and promote overall health and well-being.

Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation  is an opportunity for beginners to experience a taste of the peace and calm that meditation can create. You will have the chance to practice several guided meditations, get answers to your questions, and to know more about the benefits of mindfulness meditation. You will learn:

  • How to meditate
  • How to respond more effectively to stress
  • How to connect to the present moment more effectively
  • How to incorporate mindfulness into everyday activities

The scientific evidence backing the benefits of mindfulness meditation is well established. This introductory workshop is a great opportunity to experience what mindfulness is all about, and to begin enjoying its benefits!

Tuition :$40 in advance, $45 day of, space permitting. Workshop held at Yoga Soleil in Puyallup.

Meditation Support: simply begin again

This is an excellent follow-up to any Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Pain Management or meditation courses you may have taken in the past. 

If you have been practicing for a while and have questions, or perhaps intended to practice but life got in the way, join Anne for 90 minutes in which we will explore means to (re)establish our meditation and mindfulness practice, investigate obstacles, get clarity on how to refresh and sustain our meditation practice and mindfulness in daily life.

 Remember the 3 most important words in practice: SIMPLY BEGIN AGAIN!


Together we will practice, reflect, ask questions and leave with a renewed commitment to our practice and well being.
