About Anne Arntson, ERYT
The Mindful Living Project is Anne's brainchild. She is an accredited Breathworks ® Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Pain Management teacher and she is passionately committed to helping others learn, grow, and change through the simple power of paying attention in the present moment. She has practiced, studied and taught mindfulness, meditation and yoga for over a decade. She opened and ran the Yoga Soleil studio in Puyallup for 9 years.
Besides her extensive studies with the Center for Mindfulness and Breathworks®, she has also completed training with Warriors at Ease to teach yoga and meditation to military with PTS and TBI as well as Mindful Schools, teaching mindfulness to kids in PK to 12th grade.
Anne’s teaching aims to provide clear tools to bring ease of body, mind and heart to everyday life. Her personal practice is strongly influenced by the Vipassana tradition and the mindfulness teachings of Jack Kornfield, Jon Kabat-Zinn and other leading teachers. Silent retreat experience, the application of mindfulness in daily life and volunteer work for hospice care are also foundational to her teaching.
Founded in 2004 and based in the UK, Breathworks® offers a toolkit of knowledge for lifelong use, drawing on the best of mindfulness practice and the founders’ personal experience. They are a European leader in the field of mindfulness and are expending worldwide with over 330 teachers in 24 countries.

Breathworks programs and products are a development of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) adapted to suit the needs of those with chronic pain, illness or stress and founded on practice-based research. Their research on the clinical benefits of mindfulness revealed that across all scales measured (mood, pain experience, quality of life, catastrophising, and confidence in activity despite pain), the Breathworks approach showed statistically and clinically significant improvement.
